How to delete your content and account on RedQur
Delete Individual Content
Users can permanently delete their own content at any time from within the app, including:
- Photos
- Videos
- Stories
- Scrolls
- Watch Videos
- Agora Posts
- Comments
- Playlists (if applicable)
Deleted content is permanently removed from public view and our production systems.
Delete Your Account
Users can permanently delete their RedQur account from:
Profile → Settings → Security → Delete Account
Deleting an account permanently removes:
- Profile
- Username
- Bio
- Profile picture
- Photos
- Videos
- Stories
- Scrolls
- Watch Videos
- Agora Posts
- Comments
- Likes
- Followers and Following
- Saved items
- Playlists
- Chat history*
- Notifications
- Account preferences
*Conversations may remain visible to other participants who received the messages.
Request Data Deletion
If you cannot access your account, contact support@redqur.com and include:
- Username
- Registered email address
- Reason for deletion request
RedQur will verify account ownership before processing the deletion request.
Data Retention
After account deletion, personal information and user-generated content are permanently deleted. Some limited information may be temporarily retained only to:
- Comply with legal obligations
- Investigate abuse
- Prevent fraud
- Enforce the Terms of Service
Such retained information is deleted after the legally required retention period.
Processing Time
Most deletion requests are processed immediately or within a short period after confirmation.
Complete removal from backups and internal systems may take up to 90 days.
Third-Party Services
Media and account data stored by RedQur's infrastructure providers (such as cloud storage and databases) are also scheduled for deletion as part of the deletion process.
